Weight Watchers Online has used a point system for thirteen years, and it has become the strong “point” in their weight loss program. The Points Plus plan adds up the calories, fat, carbs, fiber, and protein within every type of food and drink and then puts a specific amount of points on them, and how many points a day you can consume is configured off or your current weight, age, and height.
On a Point Plus chart, low-fat grilled chicken pasta will have more points attached to it then a Big Mac or cheeseburger. But the balance of calories and fat that are charted on the Point Plus plan allows you to eat a Big Mac without exceeding your amount of points in that day, so you can splurge and eat what you want instead of having to steer away from your favorite foods.
